REFLECTIVE STATEMENT:

I actually really enjoyed the task of making sounds and exploring the world of sound. I feel more confident in sound design as a whole in terms of thinking about what I should be looking for in my own films. It was a task worth doing. I also enjoy editing, so it was nice to fall back into the grounds of doing that- even on different software. Going out and recording sounds has been my favourite part of the project. I struggled at the start to generate ideas for the pictures, but once I got going, it all started to make sense. There's no real right or wrong with sound for the images- so I hope my ideas are brought to life as I want them to be heard. I'm looking forward to less sound mixing in this type of scenario- and more sound creating in my future work.
