So now that I'm feeling pretty confident in my story, it's time to design things in the world surrounding my characters. 

For the beds, I'm leaning the most toward bed 1, it's simple and big enough that both animals could lay on it together with no obstructions. Although I also really like design 3- I don't know if it will fit in with the atmosphere I'm trying to create- it may give the wrong idea about what kind of personality Ryan has. 


 Looking at the bowls, I could just have a simple design like bowl 1 or 5- which is pretty realistic, or it could be more fun and a statement to Ryan being the older dog, making it clear it was his home first with bowl 11. Or it could match the beds with bowl 2/6. But for story sake, I think I am leaning towards bowl 11, to hint at him being an only dog before Bella came along. Multiple bowls will probably end up being used, as there is a scene where Bella eats too.

The bushes are something I will take to maya when possible, and play around with multiple designs to get a shape that works in the scene. I don't feel the need to make this too stylised- it just needs to serve its role as a berry bush in the scene where the dogs will pick from it.
