So looking at the main characters collar, this is like clothing for the dog- so I wanted to use it to capture a few things about him. The first thing being to make it more of a typically 'masculine' collar, dark in colour- blocky in shape to match the character. It has qualities of a real basic collar design, as he is ultimately supposed to be the ideal dog. Because he's meant to be a bit older, I want it to have a worn in look, a bit beaten up and weathered, a classic collar and classic tag can help empathise the idea that he is older and male- but I want it to have an extra edge to it with some damage. I really liked the other designs too, especially the middle one with the tag embedded into the collar- that felt really sleek.
