On Monday Alan and I spoke about my mishmash of 'ideas' for Premise. I have a whirlwind of things I want to do but none of them quite line up just yet, but it's early days and theres some elements I will attempt to carry through. I'm not 100% dead-set on any idea just yet, but I plan to explore some of the ideas further before committing to any one thing. I have got a few smaller set ideas to evolve; transitioning/werewolf- but werewolves are kind of overdone, so I will still have this in mind because I feel if I got my story right it could work, but for now it's not the final animal for this story. My dogs were my other idea, with one of them passing away last year it really reminded me that we have an incredible bond with them, so I would like a dog in my project if it fits in. There are other stories, perhaps too personal that I want to use to convey emotion, but not ready to tell or put into art just yet.

So over the next week I will be writing about some personal experiences with transitioning and attempt to find metaphors within this and continue boiling it down. I also plan to figure out which animals represent transition best if I tell the story through an animal rather than myself, and if not- using an animal within my story will still be something I try very hard to stick to. I'll also be looking at puppetry/animatronics alongside this, real 3D ideas that I would be interested to combine with my world, seeing as it is something I am very inspired by. I'd like to try and make something physical to go alongside my project at some point.

I'm going to attach a few images of things that inspire me, whether it be through the story, the style, the making or the characters.
