These are my thumbnails for Thekla!
This was my favourite city, the description itself really called out to me and I fell in love with the last few lines 'The sky is filled with stars. "There is the blueprint," they say.' This is most likely going to be my city of choice- because of how much I enjoyed reading and re-reading the passage, imagining a never-ending construction site with cranes, half-built buildings getting bigger and bigger- the greys and the stars at night above it all. I did 10 drawings for this city, consisting of stamps and new brushes (that really helped inspire me and get across what I wanted to show for the city), and in the left-hand corner I have colours of the night sky bleeding up into the dark greys of Thekla- this was to help my designing of the thumbnails, but I think it adds something to them all when looking at the thumbnails. It helps portray what I love about the city. I would enjoy working even more on Thekla.
