These are my thumbnail sketches for Moriana!

I liked the way I could interpret this city as a human mountain, a face in the mountain or the city as a face on the mountain! I felt very spoiled for choice but wanted to focus on a colour scheme with this city- which I felt strongly would be a pale blue and gold. I kept my sketches loose and soft for this city, as I imagine it wouldn't have a very sharp or harsh look to it. It feels very gentle and I hope I managed to portray it as such. I like thumbnail 1 and 2 because they are so different from the same description.  (I also realised I hit 100 thumbnails and decided to stop pushing out designs I wasn't enthusiastic about, so I could just focus on getting my ideas onto the page with less pressure- so now there will be fewer sketches per city!)
