I got given one of my favourite films to embed a character into: Isle of Dogs. I absolutely love the rogue dog designs with the robot parts and sickly health shining through them, so that's what I worked on while using images of dogs I'd taken myself to help create an authentic character. I enjoyed drawing the dogs, although difficult to really capture the style since it's very unique and stop motion animated. We then continued working on our characters and their styles, mine is a ninja with calligraphy. I've had a few more ideas about how to add character to the ninja, he is young/apprentice, so I'm going to spend some time messing with his costume to add some youth throughout it.
