These are my thumbnail sketches for Sophronia!
I really fell in love with the idea of this city- excited to visit it and explore the lights and darks between the divides in the cities. I struggled to portray the lighting the way I had imagined it- but I like the ideas I was able to capture- like the business of the rollercoasters in the background and foreground amongst a hospital in sketch 10. My designs are getting quicker as I go- which I think is an improvement for my timing, as I was spending a bit too long on each one.
